In large companies, accounting graduates may be responsible for analyzing, classifying, and recording transactions. At smaller firms, accountants may be responsible for maintaining part or all of the company’s financial records.
Accounting provides a universal base that allows students to speak the language of business. A functional understanding of QuickBooks gives students proficiency in the leading software of the profession. Other skills students will acquire in the training at Ensign College include:

- Evaluate financial statements
