Associate of Applied Science (AAS)

Overview

Students learn how to design software products from concept to adoption within an agile project management environment. Upon completion, students will have added to their portfolios several software projects building both technical and soft skills.

Career Opportunities

A degree in UI/UX prepares a student to enter the workforce as an Associate level UX Designer or Product Designer. The graduate will work with Website, Web Application, and Mobile Application design and related products.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the degree, successful graduates will be able to:

1. Develop user-centered designs using iterative processes and best practices.

2. Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard tools for design and prototyping.

3. Exhibit effective collaboration, communication, and leadership in UI/UX design projects.

4. Integrate accessibility, usability, and ethical principles, including Gospel values, into design processes.
