FIN 350 Fundamentals of Financial Plananing

FIN 350 offers an applied introduction to the discipline of personal financial planning (PFP). Emphasizing a holistic approach, the course integrates case analysis to ensure practical understanding of concepts. Students will gain comprehensive insights into the essential skills and knowledge required to become successful financial planning professional. Key topics include time value of money, cash and debt management, personal financial statement analysis, education funding, investing basics, retirement planning, tax and estate planning, and other relevant topics, all explored through the lens of real-world scenarios and case studies.
