HUM 110 Discovering the Humanities

This course explores important moments in the history of humanity through various mediums, such as literature, poetry, philosophy, art, and religion. It especially focuses on the way these topics and mediums relate to one another and explores different cultures and perspectives. Throughout the course, students will develop essential skills like critical thinking, analyzing texts for deeper comprehension, evaluating sources to find reliable information, and expressing complex ideas clearly and effectively. By the end of the course, students will have a greater understanding of human identity and culture and the tools to navigate its complexities confidently.
