SS 130 Geopolitics

Geopolitics fulfills the Social Science General Education requirement. Learning in this course will empower students to have compassion, understanding, and empathy for the thoughts and beliefs of other peoples around the world. This course will increase students’ knowledge of current global issues, immersing them in names and locations of countries. Learning in this course includes seeking deeper understanding of events and information related to governmental and economic structures/status, languages, religions, and prophetic statements. Students will listen, interpret, and create understanding of social and political events in context with their own world and local community. Learning includes demonstrating essential skills to critically consider the future of countries and our world.
