DCC 210 Graphic Design

In course, students build a foundation in design principles and elements, as well as exposure to relevant design tools. Through hands on projects, students will explore topics such as typography, color theory, layout, and image manipulation, and will have the opportunity to learn how to use industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator. The course also covers fundamental design principles such as composition, hierarchy, and balance, and emphasizes the importance of effective visual communication. By the end of the course, students will have developed a solid understanding of the principles of graphic design, as well as practical skills that can be applied to a variety of design projects.
