HP 220 Medical Lab Procedures & CPR
Presents the fundamentals of the purposes, techniques, and recording of diagnostic laboratory procedures commonly performed: ECG, hematology, white blood count and cultures. Emphasizes patient preparation for diagnostic studies, preparation of specimens for laboratory study, and safety measures. Basic Life Support (CPR).
Prerequisite
HP 140 with a B or higher, C or higher in
HP 210,
HP 212, and C or higher in
LS 265. Complete pre-program requirements and vaccinations.
